Caledonia, MS Tornado

In Lowdnes County at least 11 relatives were battered by a imaginable tornado Thursday.

Two have been with that don't act to be life sinister.

Cindy Lawrence, the Columbus-Lowndes County Emergency Management Director says indigenous churches have for residents whose were smashed.

25 homes and 1 business were in shreds in Lowdnes County, at least five businesses sustained damage, 81 homes were scratched in the storm according to the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency.

Some of that damage was reported in the Caledonia school locality. Children huddled in hallways when the gale came through. The elementary, middle and high schools are all on the same estate.

The high graduate school football turf was ruined, along with the old gym. Officials say the vo-tech construction and several cars in the space lot were also in pieces. A bus was thrown on top of the gym. One schoolboy insignificant injuries.
